“New Mythologies” (2026- ) is an interdisciplinary project exploring the mythology of the technological age, examining the forces that govern our present reality through the architecture of classical myth.​​

For thousands of years, myths have done the work of meaning-making. They gave a face to forces too vast to comprehend, put them in relationship with humans, and in doing so, helped us understand who we are.

We have already entered an age with new gods. Artificial Intelligence. Surveillance. Social Media. These forces receive our devotion, our worship, our attention, our fear.​ "New Mythologies" gives them a body. It introduces the gods of our present moment as characters: presences with agency and consequences. Audiences do not observe from a distance. They commune. They reckon.

The project launches at the World Beautiful Business Forum with two figures: Discord and Optimization. Discord is envisioned as a Siren, emerging from the ocean and roaming the world to feast on human strife. Half seductress, half monster, she shape-shifts and relishes in millennia of unbridled power. Optimization is a traveling salesman, with inventions inspired by the latest technological developments - and those which could still come.

The work is a living body of performance. "New Mythologies" is designed to expand over time, incorporating new characters as forces emerge. It is built to move: mainstage productions, site-specific encounters, immersive experiences, pop-up performances. The mythology adapts to the moment.
